I think we're all busy and have all gotten at least one other significant hobby. Also, many of us are to the point that our cars run, but need work (tuning in my case) before it's worth it to run it at the track.. not super happy about running 7psi and cutting 13.0's run after run. Especially to drive all the way to Memphis to do it. Anyhow, that's my personal thing.
Personally, I'm working a lot and doing more out of town speaking, so my weekend attendance has been very spotty, as has my meeting attendance during the week. I'm trying to change that up a bit, but will still have some out of town weekend stuff on a regular basis.
That being said, I think we need to start planning now for next year's major events. VA Beach Show, LSX ShootOut, Import vs. Domestic, Forced Induction Meet, Car shows/cruises, etc. I've missed them all this year because I have booked other things in advance before finding out the dates with the exception of the LSX Shootout, car wasn't ready plus my project at work was iffy as to whether I could go or not. I personally want to run my car in the first 4 things I mentioned above in 2010.
Brandon has a huge parking lot - we could work with him to organize and run a car show or two during the spring/summer/fall. I also think we should talk to him about putting up a banner (not as big as the one we have) in the shop, getting new business cards and having a stack of them on the counter. I'll be glad to chip in for the banner and/or cards. I suggest we don't put the meeting place on the cards, but just the link to the site and I'll put links on here to make it easy to get to the Events forum.
I think the time commitment that is affecting the meetings is also affecting board participation. I do have links to the site in all of my signatures on LS1Tech, CorvetteForum, PerformanceTrucks.net and my mods page that is also in my signature as well as on my blog. I'll make the RPM links more prominent there, going to get rid of the firebird info at some point soon, or move it to another page. I've tweeted a few times about the vette and have referred people here, not sure if that made it. For that matter, we should probably set up a twitter page for RPM. We can talk about that this weekend - I'll actually be around Saturday and Sunday.
And you're right, if each of us takes 10 minutes A WEEK to promote the site and club, we can make a big difference locally and on the web.

I need a new sticker. Honorary (solid top letters), would prefer silver or gray.
